GL1500 adjustable clutch lever

Postby canadiancrawler » Thu Nov 15, 2012 2:20 pm

Does anybody know if here is an adjustable clutch lever availible for the 1500,reasons is that i have stubby fingers/plus mild tendenitois which makes it difficult sometimes to operate the clutch, especially in heavy traffic situations. My 08 boulevard has adjustable levers and it makes it perfect, but that bike is not comfartable for the wife hence the reason for the wing.

If you don't find one (and I suspect you won't), you could always just heat and bend the lever in a bit - that's what I have to do on my wife's bike, on both the clutch and brake levers, because she has tiny little fingers. Just make sure you don't bend it in so far that you can't completely disengage the clutch!

They are available. I have adjustable clutch and brake levers on my '89 1500, but unfortunately I can't give you any more information than this as they were on the bike when I bought it:(!
