Help with Older Kuryakyn foot pegs

Postby uoba » Sun Dec 16, 2012 1:03 pm

Well, I picked these retractable Kuryakyn Isopegs up recently, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to mount them. I was told they mount between the frame and passenger foot boards, but I need a little help on how this is suppose to work out. Could someone please post a picture or a copy of the mounting instructions? I've already been in touch with Kuryakyn and they don't have anything on them since they are over 15 years old. I plan to mount them on my 1988 GL1500.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is what I have

Mine are mounted to the outside, but look a little different than yours. My wife uses them a lot when on trips. I think with a little thought you could make these work with whatever you have now. Mine came as a unit and the floorboards were different from the OE boards.

Well, this is my lucky day! :D

I got a call from Gene at Kuryakyn this morning saying that he had found the install paper for the retractable Isopegs that I have. Apparently they were built prior to 1998 and prior to the current "Transformer" models.

He faxed me the instructions, I mounted the pegs today, and all is well!!

Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!
