Removing Mic from head set...

Postby TennX » Thu Dec 20, 2012 4:54 pm

I just got an older J&M headset, all I really need is the speakers, reckon I can cut the mic off at the clamp without rendering the speakers useless...I wouldnt be out anything if it doesnt work but hate to bugger up a good unit that I could pay forward...many thanks....

The mic is electrically separate from the speakers, so you shouldn't have a problem.

Worked like a charm, got my 1/2 helmet retro fitted with the headset speakers, nice and comfortable and great sound....
