What the Technique...?

Postby bjatwood » Wed Jan 16, 2013 7:42 pm

OK guys,
I'm putting the 1500 back together after some filter replacement. And I can't get the left side of the radio shelter flush with the side cover. I've made sure that the radio wires are routed correctly. But just can't seem to get that right side down...! The left side isn't a problem at all. What thoughts do you all have on this?

Turned out to be a combination of 2 things. The darn ground connector plug was in the way and the left side "lock clip" by the gas cap had turned itself to the lock position when trying to maneuver it into place. So, with these "adjustments" the cover slipped right down... ;)

Yup, those locking clips have bit me before. You think you have them set correctly, but they're easy to bump while maneuvering things into place, then you can't figure out why things won't sit flush.
