Hi I am new to this site but I have a 98 1500 se, looking to upgrade from the original cassette to a more modern system. I there something out there that fits into the same space as the one that I have now? Want to use the same interface to simplify the install.Dave

I'd use a marine radio, so moisture would not be a problem.

You can have an AUX input plug added to the radio system for about $100 by Sierra Electronics.
Then you can plug in your iPod or mp3 player directly and enjoy really good sound (did mine this winter).
Mine plugs into my Zumo 550 which holds my mp3 collection on an 8 gb sd card so I have DAYS worth of music adn can talk over the bluetooth on my phone as well thanks to the adaptor I purchased...Just how modern do you want to go...?
