Handlebar holder for cassettes

Postby cal3san » Mon Jan 28, 2013 11:42 pm

In mid-2011 I took an NC to CA to NC motorcycle trip on the Shadow trike. At one of the Visitor's Center in Arizona I met up with a gent on a GL-1500. He was playing cassettes but what I really remembered was that he had a slotted rack that held 6 or so cassette tapes Made it real easy to change tapes with minimum hassel. It was mounted on the left handlebar.

Now that I have a 1500 with a working cassette player I'm interested in finding one before this summer's long trip(s). Anyone got any ideas or leads?

Thanks,

Cal

Morning Cal...I only have 1 bag left of cassettes that my wife held on to, we are now a CD house, but what I did was buy one of those Cassette Adapters that plug in to an mp3. My phone carries a LOT of music, and I put it on random so I get a great selection of music.

Walmart still sells the cassette adapters pretty cheap. I use it in my car too (yes, my 2002 Monte Carlo SS has a cassette player in it).

If you need cassette tapes I still have a bunch. Some pretty good music on them too.

Thanks for the offer for cassette tapes guys but that's not what I'm looking for---I have plenty of cassette tapes. I'm actually looking for a cassette holder that mounts on the handlebar and holds cassette tapes. The holder would make it easier to change tapes out while going down the road.

Cal

I converted all of my cassettes and c.d.'s to my mp-3. Much easier to hook up, no hassle for changing music and smaller too.
