Vac fuel ****

Another slight set back on fuel odor , Knew about where it was at . Started smelling the gas odor several weeks after I got this 1500.
I waited till spring simply because it was convenient to do so . I removed all the goodies this morning and checked the hoses / they all looked good so I removed the petcock and took it apart . Found 4 tiny creases where it flexes when it opens and closes . I am going to run the line straight and get 1 on the way. Should not have any problems and if I di I plan on opening the cap when it is parked . Have not had any problems with floats at all . This should be a good check on their condition. :o
Anyone know if the vac petcock is still available or a replacement that will work just as good as the original.

The Phantom gray is not the fastest wing color , But it has been known to slip by quickly and appear in front of faster colors at times

The last kit I saw came from europe. It's gone now.I opted for a electric valve. It's used for camping equipment, suitable for gas. Here's a cross reference list compiled by some members and the valve used on the 1500. ... =16&t=6742
