Battery Tray Bolt

Postby brucel6901 » Sun Mar 31, 2013 9:16 am

I was putting back battery in 93 Aspencade and lost one of the darn bolts that secures the bottom of the battery tray. These are the 2 that bolt down the bottom tray near the frame rail. Would anybody happen to know the proper size bolt? Thanks-Bruce

I don't know it offhand, but if it's the same as the other one, just run it up to the hardware store and get a matching replacement.

That said, I hate running my bike with lost fasteners rattling around in it somewhere. I've done it, but I hate it.

I will try and do that. They do seem similar. I feel the same way. Dont like anything loose flying around.

I am the same- does not matter if it is a bike or a car, I try and locate and retrieve the item. So far with my bike I have lost then found again a few days later, a shelter bolt, and also found a small bolt which someone else had lost, and found where it went as well- I had wondered where the missing bolt had gone- it was one of them that held the left pocket.

Are we having fun yet?
