Need alternative to lock trunk

Postby drn1023 » Thu Apr 11, 2013 4:44 pm

Hi... I've got a '98 that I'm having an issue with the trunk. In trying to do a "K" turn on a hill ,(yeah, I know... stupid. long story...) the bike went over when my Achilles tendon popped.... The shock seems to have cracked the ABS right where the clips that lock the trunk mount. It's not the clips themselves, but where they mount to the lid... I've been trying to find a lid with no cracks in that area, but no luck so far. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem and came up with a different way to secure the lid that looked decent. As it is now, I just don't seave anything in the trunk that I worry about being stolen if I have to leave the bike...

I just stuff one of these inside the trunk. I can always tell when somebody screws with it. cause they leave a smelly mess on the ground.
And you don't have to feed it after.

If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat?
