auxiliary plug

Postby Gordwing » Wed May 08, 2013 12:46 pm

2 years ago I found the topic, how to add an auxiliary plug to my 1992 aspencade radio. I mamaged to do it because of the amazing detail in the posting and it works well, except for my intercom.
Has anyone else added this plug and did it cause other problems.

I have done 2 of them with no problems. I used the following web page on them. http://www.sheriart.net/honda/
What is the intercom doing or not doing?

Good to hear. I didn't use a relay or switch either.I leave a blank cassette in the chamber. I bought 2 new J & M headsets and we hear the radio and MP 3 player well, but we do not hear each other no matter what I try with the knobs. I'm going to try them on another goldwing to make sure the headsets are o.k. and then focus on the radio if need be.

Wish you were closer. Which mod did you do? The one where you tie into the cassette audio and use a cassette in the player to hear the player?

I'm tied into the cassette. Not sure if it's the best way but it was the easiest for me.I'm not good at electronics.I tested the headsets on another goldwing yesterday and they work fine.Today I will return them for a Bluetooth set.it sounds like the radio repair will take a while and I'd have to send it to sierra electronics in Ohio.
