steering damper

Postby josua60 » Wed May 08, 2013 10:03 pm

I just had my 1988 Wing triked, love it. Problem is, with the EZ Steer, the front end is way too sensitive. I picked up a damper but there's no mounts. Anybody know of a mount kit for this? What is the diameter of the fork tubes? Appreciate any info.

You'll get used to it. Takes a little time. Forget the dampner!

I am just waiting for my 1988 to be colelcted for triking, and I have elected not to have the eazy steer fitted on mine- It will be interesting to find out if that was a good or bad choice once it is done- I have the option of adding it at a later date, but just trying to keep the cost down at the moment.
Are we having fun yet?

I would suggest you add it now. Without it you will feel it steers like a log truck without power steering. You also will most likely experience the dreaded wobble without the rake kit.
