Handle bar adjustment help

Postby tflanders » Tue May 28, 2013 7:26 am

I have a stock setup on my 98 Aspencade. I guess I don't know how the handle bars should be fitted to me? How high should my bars be? How close to me? How do I know if I need to get a riser kit and install it? Any help would be appreciated!

Not a lot of adjustment; you can get to the clamps and rotate the bars a bit up/down also moves them back and forward..risers won't fit under all the plastic..I THINK...
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83

I personally like mine as high as I can get them,so as soon as I get a different Wing I loosen them off and adjust them as far up as I can without hitting the windsheild with the bars turned all the way left or right.Just my personal preference.
If I'da known it would last this long,I'da taken better care of it.

There's no room for risers if you want to keep the bridge in place.

Personally I rotate mine as far back as I can get them and still have them work correctly (short arms, long legs!).
