Could be,but first you would have to determine if it's running out of fuel or spark..
There is a bank angle sensor that could fail...it usually happens when you hit a bad bump.
It can kill the ignition and the fuel pump at the same time.
The fuel pump power is provided by the ignition module...no spark,no fuel pump....
It could also be a intermittent "kill"switch"..diligently,they can be cleaned or temporarily bypassed for testing.
When it dies, can you crank it right back up?
You could also prepare a test spark plug...when it dies, stick the plug on one wire and see if there is spark...assuming it won't start right back up.

Does it just quit dead? Spark.
Does it slowly peter out and die? Fuel.
