Whirring sound with clutch in

Post by tpasbrig » Fri Aug 02, 2013 5:52 am

I just bought a 1997 SE 1500. Love it, but with the clutch in at stops there is a noticable 'whirring sound'. Is this normal or should it be dealt with? Anyone know?

I think that is normal. Mine does the same thing.

Curious! My '94 GL1500SE model has 130K on the clock and I don't hear any 'unusual' noises when I pull the clutch. Near as I can tell, the engine noise remains constant, clutch in, clutch out...or all the time in between in and out.

Keep the rubber side down.
