I have a 1994 gl1500 se and I am looking for information to help me adjust the right side tappet noise for proper clearance and sequence of events on how to get to them...Thank you...Bob

The valves on the 1500 are hydraulic. Adjustment is usually not necessary. They are adjusted by adding or removing shims as required. Which requires a special tool. That said your problem is more than likely sludge limiting the flow of oil. A dose of 1/2 can of Seafoam is usually recommended to dissolve the sludge. Add Seafoam and run it for a few miles, 50 to 100 or so, then change the oil.
