How do I know?

Postby Rob98801 » Tue Sep 03, 2013 11:54 pm

Try as I may, I must be using the wrong search words. How do you figure out the meaning of the designation after the GL1500 *** some have an A, or SE or some other code. Where are these spelled out or decoded. and how do you know or can tell which rig you have, from what I have read the VIN does not show these.

Help! I'm trying to understand.

Rob

The Saunders site has a Goldwing history page. http://www.goldwingfacts.com/goldwinghistory.htm It tells what years had what designations and what the differences are.
I= Interstate
A= Aspencade
SE= Special Edition

Thanks , I had read that article, but for some reason (old) it just didn't penetrate into the hollow where some of what's left of my thinker is located. :oops:

Again thanks.
