idle adjust???

Postby oilboy1162 » Wed Sep 04, 2013 9:52 pm

ok, so now when i'm idling, my lights will start to flicker. i see rpm's dropping to about 600. looked up in manual to see how to adjust, but low and behold, there is no idle adjust in the gas filler area.anyone got a good plan on how to fix this?

 I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!

The carbs have probably been removed at some time in the past and they didn't route the cable back to the proper location. It's probably hanging down beside the carbs on the right side. Probably have to remove the air filter housing to get to it. Good luck

Well, it could be a Winter task, you have such long winters up there, that you need all the occupational therapy you can get to keep the cabin fever at bay! But keep smiling.

Yeah, what else are you going to do all winter? Not that hard to do.

I was going to say the same thing - this is an hour's task, not a winter task.
