Cassette Wont Open Any Ideas

Hey Wingers Just picked up a used 1998 Wing & Radio didn't have Vol, Great help on fuse Thanks , Would Like to know if anyone has Ideas on how to get Cassette Open ? Thank L Geer

You may have to disassemble it. I replaced my bulbs with LEDs and about a month later it wouldn't eject a tape. When I took it apart, I found the tape I used to hold down some wires had unstuck. I rerouted the wires and haven't had a problem since. Does yours make any noise when you eject? The door latch is aluminum and may be bent where it latches. Just take your time and don't force it.

I had the same problem as fiberthree- wires from the LED conversion dropped in to the cassette mechanism, disassembly and re-wiring fixed that. Opening it up will show what the problem is.
