oil change time again 89 gl 1500

OK. I have been using 10-40 (winter) and 20-50 (summer) Valvoline 4 stroke or Castrol 4 stroke motorcycle oil .I am aware of the JASO MA
requirement because of the wet clutch. Money is tight so I am thinking of going with the Rotella 15-40 from Walmart. I have heard it"s good oil to use and pretty much has the same protection.Any final pros or cons before I change.

The Rotella is a great oil. I use it in my KLR 650. I would have no problem using it in the Goldwing too but prefer the Rotella T6 synthetic 5-40.

I use this oil for all my Honda's. And have never had a problem with using it. Try it you'll like it!

If the budget is tight you can also look at the DELO 400 oil at Wal*mart at about $13 per gallon.
Couple that with a Wal*mart purchased filter at about $3.50 and you have an oil change for under $20 easy.
The Delo is a good Deisel Engine Lubricating Oil (DELO) that works great in the "Wings.
I use the Rotella T6 Synthetic in mine...but have tried and lied the Delo also....
