J&M Passenger control

Postby Altmeier1 » Mon Sep 30, 2013 4:41 pm

Hi I have the type of control that mounts on the small compartment doors on the side of the passenger seat. I took it off my old 1998 wing, and now a year later I am installing it on a newer 1998 wing but I don't know where to attach the brown clip coming from the control. I can't seem to locate a empty brown clip from the bike side to connect to. Any ideas? Thanks
Tom

I'm not sure what you mean by the brown clip. Are you asking about the electrical connector for the passenger volume control? If that's what you are looking for it was inside a rubber boot with a bunch of other connectors under the passenger seat. It was the only unused connector inside the boot. It was near the left rear shock mounting point if I remember correctly.

Correct, the boot is tucked behind the crossbar between the frames.
