1500 bolt

Postby hap2 » Sat Oct 05, 2013 7:18 pm

I've got a 1992 1500SE & lost the little bolt holding the battery bracket on.

Does anyone know what size (thread size, & length X width) it is so I can replace it?

Thank you

if you have an old battery laying around use one of the bolts from it to hold the bracket on

I don't have an old battery laying around anywhere..car, bike, or truck.

All the bolts are metric. Probably M6 or M8

According to the fische on
http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com ... ke=hondamc
the bolt is 6X12 whatever that means. Both the plain washer as well as the spring washers that go with it are both 6 mm, so u were right, & I thank u.

6x12 means it's an M6 bolt, and it is 12mm long. You can pick one up at any hardware store.

Incidentally, these particular m6x12 bolts are 1.0 threads
