Cornering Light

Post by Keef » Mon Oct 07, 2013 11:48 am

I have a 1997 gl1500 Aspencade. When I switch the ignition on my right cornering light stay's on. It used to stay on every now and then.
I would switch the turn signals back and forth, and it would go out. Now it stay's on all the time.
Any one had this type of problem? Any ideals on what it might be would be very appreciated!!

There is a relay, actually there's one for each lamp,it is the first suspect.
They normally live under the shelter above the cornering lamp area and are tied to the harness.
I replaced mine with standard relays...Watch the wiring...on my 88,the relays energize to turn OFF the lamps not on.The OEM relay is wired as a Normally Closed contact.
