Article from 1988 about the "New GL1500"

Hello fellow wingers.
This is my 1st post here and I hope you like it. :)

BUT ... Firstly, I would like to thank WingAdmin and everyone else (you know who you are) that contribute to all the fantastic information. I have solved a couple of problems already on my newly acquired 88 model using the methods I have found here.

I have a great little article written in November 1988 that may interest some.

Yup, here too. Definitely a different bike when the 1500 came out, Honda really changed the touring market based on this.....still wished the continued to make them in US, oh well ;)

Hmm .. I see on both your Avatars you have a different looking front cowla under the screen than I do.

I think the PO of my bike has updated mine from the original '88 one.

This is my other ride ...

Also an '88 model. It has that loud V-Twin (hole-saw mod) rumble that I wish I could out of my Goldwing.

Since my avatar shot was taken, I upgraded the front look to be like later models. I might change the picture now, as I have one with me riding on it approaching a bike show a few weeks ago.
