Restoration Pics!

Postby cycletraderman » Thu Nov 07, 2013 10:37 pm

Sorry if this is not the right place for this, but I just uploaded a bunch of pics of my 1996 SE Restoration project. Check them out here. There are 3 sets of pictures as they limit the number of pics in a library.

Wow! Great looking bike. You went all out didn't you? Good job. Salt air sure causes problems with rust and corrosion.

I definitely spent more than I could ever get back out of I, the tradeoff is I now know what I have, and what has been done to it. This is my second 1500. The benefit of all this work is that I now speak fluent 1500!!

And being in Texas, you probably get to ride it all year round? I used to live in Austin (Loved it there) and hope to move back in a few years!!

Hi Gary, yes I do get to ride all year. I will be moving to the Austin area from the Galveston area in a few months. Maybe I'll pass you on the road sometimes.

Beautiful looking bike, looks like lots of great work. I hope after I buy my 1500, that I can get mine to look that good one day.
