65W/55W Halogen H4's in GL1500

Postby dladika » Tue Nov 19, 2013 11:35 am

Is it safe to use the 65W/55W Halogen H4 bulbs in the GL1500 without changing anything else? I did use the recommended shims. I'm just concerned about heat/wiring being OK with the slightly higher wattage. Thanks, Doug

"It´s a friggen motorcycle, it´s not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you s**t your pants every now and then. "
