J&M elite 626 headsets

Greetings,
I've just installed theses in both helmets, great sound....... But I get engine noise and when I apply the brakes I get a clicking sound......
Any ideas?

That shouldn't have anything to do with the headsets - did you have different headsets before that didn't exhibit the behavior?

Normally what you're describing is due to a bad ground somewhere.

I get a slow (soft, not loud) clicking sound with brakes also, but only when rear helmet is connected (ie- passenger). It is my flasher relay for my brake lights and I find it somewhat reassuring- I know the flashers are working. Not sure why it happens only when rear helmet is connected though.

I purchased the bike about a year ago, there were no head sets that came with the bike
So I purchased the elite 629. A ground wire issue could anywhere right?

Rear headset wires close to the rear brake system wiring, front headset wires are not..so the noise only when the rear brake is applied..seems like that would explain it..????
