slow leak in air ride

Post by tdjklove » Fri Feb 28, 2014 4:07 pm

the person I bought this great machine from said he had taken the bike to 6 shops and no one could find the leak. It isn't a slow leak either, all air is gone within 20 minutes, and I'm not sure that forcing the air compressor to constant pump would be a good idea. Any home remedies that won't destroy my bike, or my pride, are appreciated! Thanks.

Which bike are you having this problem with? You have several listed. Have you used a spray bottle with soapy water to find the leak? Spray around the forkseals, the top of the forks and every joint in the linesfrom the compressor to the switches and on to the shocks and forks. Might just be some crud in one of the compressor control switches or a blown seal( look for oil leak) . That is all I can suggest till we hear back from you. 8-)
Ride safe, Todd
