yep 10/40

The reason why the Rotella and other oils for diesels work so well in a wet clutch motorcycle is,like so many have stated about no friction modifiers being good for the clutches has another benefit for the transmission. They have zinc additives in the oil as well,as most motorcycle-specific oils. They will benefit your transmission. :-D The reason auto oils dont use zinc is because of catalyic converters.. The zinc will ruin them...Zinc has properties to help with added loads on a diesel engine since they have higher bearing loads on the engine,as does the transmission on a wet clutch bike. The gears in the transmission slide into one another to work(mesh) and the zinc in the oil helps with the shear factors in the transmission.

Rotella IS good oil, and Walmart usually has it for 12 bucks for 3.78lts/gallon of it. Mucho cheaper, with lots of benefits to it for our rides.

just to let everyone know that uses Shell Rotella Synthetic or semi-blend motor oil.
Save $5 on a gallon. Starts March 1 2014 Ends 5/31/14
purchase one gal of T-5 OR T6
mail in offer 2 rebates per person or household address
visit for details
I got my rebate forms at a Hess truck stop off the interstate - perhaps others may have them
