GL1500 Coolant leak

Post by slingshotm » Sun Mar 09, 2014 2:06 pm

I am working on my wife's 1500 and have a coolant leak up around the top of the radiators. I have taken quite a bit off already but cannot get to it yet. Can any one help me with what I all have to take off to get to that area and if there is a specific sequence. Already have all the top items off including the air cleaner housing. All help welcome.

Thanks

Mike

The service manual has the step by step instructions for removing the radiator
"Fight until hell freezes over, then fight on the ice"

Have you checked the coolant overflow bottle? The hose fitting on top is known to leak on some 1500s after they get some age on them.
