I was riding and my gas gauge and head light and tail light was not working. When i turn the bike off it will not crank no lights.the only thing that is working is the radio and clock

What year and model is your 1500?
Do you have a bunch of keys on the key ring? If so, just use the bike key only as the extra weight will wear out the switch fast.
Try wiggling the key with it in the run position. Do that help?
The other thing that it could be is a dirty start switch button.
Look in the how to section, I think there is a tutorial on it. Sometimes you can spray in some WD40 beside the switch(*key off) and work the switch a bunch then some electrical contact cleaner in after and work the switch some more.
