Separate cruise cancel from rear master ?

Postby wingwind » Sun Apr 27, 2014 10:44 am

Hi guys I've got the rear master cylinder 99% removed on my
88 Gl 1500 for rebuild. The master is ready to drop
except for the cruise cancel tube. Can anyone explain the proper
way to remove & reinstall this line ? Any other tips to get thru
this process would be greatly appreciated ! Hope to put this back
together smoothly and back on the road soon Thanks Much !

Good to hear - the switch on the rear master does more than cancel the cruise, it's also the brake switch.
