Changing the Handlebars

Post by jimsgoldwing » Mon Apr 28, 2014 1:53 pm

I would like to change out the handlebars on my bike for ones that are about an inch to an inch 1/2 higher. I am finding the longer rides start hurting my back and my arms are almost locked straight. Other than the obvious, (longer cables, etc...) has anyone changed them? Any brand recommendations? Can I bypass the need for brake lines, throttle? Once the information has been compiled, I will do a DIY and ask ADMIN to post it. Thanks in advance.

Mine were too low.I adjusted the end height by rotating at the center mount.
Be aware of where they are set at.Too high and they hit the mirrors with a full turn.
