windshield

Postby tvanvran » Wed May 14, 2014 10:48 am

I currently have an oversized windshield on my 1995 Aspencade trike with vent that works well with keeping wind and rain off me. The problem is that my wife complains that she gets all the elements because she sits higher. Is there a windshield that will elevate the elements away from her also, or perhaps another solution? Perhaps an oversized one that is elevated a bit higher that will work for both of us?

The Tall Tulsa I have on my GL1500 does an admirable job of keeping wind turbulence off of my passenger. Believe it or not, Hand Wings also help a fair bit, and they are amazing for bringing cool air in during hot days, and keeping wind away from you when it's cold. And with the Tall Tulsa windshield, you need lots of cooling air in the summer.

I would say the Hand Wings do more than the regular Wind Wings even.

I do not know if they make these for a 1500, but I have heard these work wonders. . . .maybe you could make one if no one else does ?

Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself. Our stress about it happens when the two aren't the same. Be true to yourself and to hell with what everyone else thinks!

Thanks for the help. I added on the hand wings and my wife loves the ride now. They cut down on the wind considerably.
