recently flushed clutch and brake fluids.
shortly after this, the clutch lever makes a 'squeaking' sound when activated.
checked the bushing and it is ok.
It looks like the rubber piece inside the master cylinder is not collapsing into itself, rather folding to the side. (part plunger makes contact with)
is this a rebuild of the master cylinder to fix or is it possible I have something else going wrong?
if it is time to rebuild, it doesnt look that complex but any pointers or tricks?

Re: 96 GL1500i clutch master cylinder noise
There's 2 parts on mine that squeaked...The pivot bolt for the lever AND the brass pivot bushing that supports the master cylinder ram pin....Clean,polish and grease...
I even greased the end of the pin too....
