Carb hose question

Postby spiralout » Tue May 20, 2014 9:00 pm

I'm reassembling after my first 1500 carb rebuild and came across this T connector on the air vent hose, #6. It looks to me like there's a side broken off, but I can't see anywhere where the plastic has been broken. It lets air in here and won't hold vacuum. I've only been able to find one pic of it on the web and it's hard to tell if it was molded this way or if mine's broken. Is this the way this T was made or do I need a new one?
