SE 1500 Clock

Post by herbal1 » Fri May 23, 2014 4:41 pm

Anyone know why digital clock on 1996 SE 1500 will not keep correct time. Clock will jump one to two minutes every 5 to 10 seconds. Every once in while the hour will jump ahead. Any thoughts. Thanks

I have a '96 Aspencade and I too have the same problem with my clock. Some days it drives me nuts. I did have the dash apart for bulb r&r, I did not do the lcd clock bulb, was having enough fun as it was did not do the clock fix either and now the clock acts up more often than before. Part of me wants to attempt the fix but now reading some peoples results, I'm not so sure anymore, it is a lot of work!!
