I had a new reverse switch installed in my 92 aspencade 3 years ago and this summer it gradually stopped working.. Any ideas?

Are you referring to the switch behind the reverse lever? It is easily cleaned with some electronic spray cleaner. Just remove the reverse lever by taking out the center screw and pull the handle off. You might be able to clean the switch good enough without removing the plastic fairing panel. Spray in there on the switch then put the handle back on and operate it a few times. That will often do the trick. Be careful when putting the handle back on. There is a pin that needs to align properly or you will bend it.
