Audio Problems

Post by bernardo45 » Sun Jun 29, 2014 9:14 pm

I had a dead battery, was jumping with a battery charger, forgot to shut radio off. Loud buzzing noise through speakers, now has very low volume. Replaced radio, still very low volume, can only barely hear with trike shut off. Is there a volume booster anywhere I might have cooked or are speakers popped ?

Yeah, it's your 5A fuse in the fuse box behind the front of the left saddlebag. You can see it with the side cover removed, but you can't access the stupid thing without loosening and moving your left saddlebag. Dumb placement on honda's part. I pulled my hair out trying to figure out the same symptoms. Found the answer on here. 10 cent fuse. Usually blows when you ride in heavy rain. At least that's what happened to mine.
