How to remove the master cylinder on my 1988 honda goldwing......

How to remove the rear master cylinder on my 1988 1500 honda goldwing....

It's a bit involved:

Remove the following:

- Left exhaust pipe, mufflers and exhaust chamber
- Right heat protector
- Battery and battery holder

Remove the cotter pin, washer, and clevis pin. Then disconnect the brake rod clevis from the brake arm.

Disconnect the 2P-RED connector of the connector holder behind the ignition control module.

Place a drip pan under the brake line.

Disconnect the metal brake line for the rear caliper by removing the bolt and sealing washers.

Disconnect the metal brake line from the front caliper by loosening the nut.

Remove the master cylinder by removing two bolts.

Disconnect the reservoir hose from the rear master cylinder by removing the clamp.

Remove the reservoir bolt, open the reservoir cap, and drain the brake fluid from the master cylinder.

Remove the reservoir hose from the reservoir by removing the clamp.

well I'm having a time with the line on my 95 and if I do get it off how will i line it up to get it back on,, I had to take the bolts out to even access the nut and am afraid im going to strip the nut,,,will it come out the bottom? removed battery box WHY?
ALL I SEE IS THE TOP OF THE DRIVESHAFT,,,,what am i missing?
