Update to 5 amp.relay head fuze

Postby Gary Neppell » Fri Jul 04, 2014 9:10 am

Bike packed an ready to go, left the house at 5am, have all lights working, I'm a happy man, then 10 min. Into the ride I loose my head lights, cornering lights, my neutral light, pull the rev. Lever an hit the button an no Rev. So now I know if I shut the bike off I will have no starter also been there last week.. Cleaned the rev. Relay four pin red plug under the truck an all worked fine for a few days until this morn.
On my way up north, get the bike home an ...
5 Amp. Fuze to rev/start blown
5 Amp. Head light relay. blown
Put new fuzes in the head light relay 5 amp. Fuze blows again, So I Flick the starter button 20 times WITHOUT the KEY ON an put new fuzes in an ALL works fine, Hmmmm, looks like the starter switch is the problem, what I'm looking for is a second opinion, thanks to all that is following this, Gary
