Need help removing Passenger Floorboards

Postby schr8er2000 » Sat Jul 12, 2014 9:28 pm

I recently purchased a 1998 Honda Goldwing Aspencade.... and needless to say, the previous owner did NOT take very good care of it.... I an trying to figure out how to remove the passenger floorboards so that I can clean them up but am afraid to do much until I get good instructions on how to do so. I am afraid to try and get the long pin out that is held in place by the "e" clip..... or if there is some other way I cant figure it out by the exploded view. Please help me figure this out ... Thanks for your consideration....

There are 2 bolts that hold the boards to the frame. That pin holds the 2 parts together and can dissembled easily after removal. Nothing you can damage.
