1996 Shiny Pearl Blue

Hey all,
If you own a Shiny Pearl Blue 'wing like mine, and need touch up paint, I have some news for you . . . . IT IS EXPENSIVE !

I do have some good news though, I went to my local body shop supply house, they brought out a "camera" that gives them the formula for a color match, and it says that 2010 Nissan B-17 Daytona Blue Pearl is a match, and much cheaper to buy.

Hope this helps anyone needing a touch up or full repaint.

Is it true that they kept the blue colour for the slow GW?

Lol maybe, but if so. . . The 'wing must be very fast as Mine has done 100+ mph before.

Yep -- The AWESOME Sparkling Pearl Blue Goldwings (1996 only) aren't very fast...

But that is done on purpose so everyone can see the awesomeness and revel in it's power.
Owners must agree to allow other to look (but not touch) the bike. It's a pact we make with Honda in exchange for owning the very BEST possible color Goldwing on the planet.

Not for everyone ya know... ;)

Thanks for the info on the paint. :ugeek:

You guys are all messed up. When it comes to motorcycles black is beautiful and, indisputably, the fastest color. Yellow is a close second. :P :P :P
