Passenger intercom plug

Postby Al Lenz » Mon Aug 04, 2014 7:54 pm

My 94-GL1500A has a 5 pin plug in the left pocket which I assume is for the driver, but for an intercom to work I would assume there is another plug for the passenger that I have not been able to find. Any clues?

It should be on the left side at the rear of the seat, you may find it tucked under the seat. If you will have to remove the seat and see if its hiding under there. Most of the bikes have a rubber holder at the rear of the seat for the plug. Hope you can find it-------------------------------Hal

Mine was/is hidden under the seat, also hid the drivers plug under the left pocket as I do not use the intercom (right now).

Found It behind the left saddlebag!! I do not see the holders for either one though. The back one might have been removed to accommodate an ad on driver's backrest, where might I be looking for the front one?

towards the inside edge of the left pocket. . . you will see a slight bubble in the edge of the pocket, thats where the cord comes out, and along the same edge, by the bottom of the pocket is the holder, IF it is there. . .

If you dont see them already then someone has removed them. The one for the driver is located beside your left pocket, you will see a notch in the left pocket were the cable comes out from under the pocket. On the rear it is on the lower part of your rear pockets. You can find some nice chrome ones on e-bay and maybe the black rubber ones that are on most Wings.--------------------Hal
