rear lights

im new here, i lifted the trunk on my 97 Gl1500se to change the brake pads. put it all back together now i have no rear lights at all,my reverse works impulsively. Any ideas?

If you disconnected any plugs to remove the trunk, they may not have seated correctly when they were reconnected. But why would you remove the trunk? I only have to remove the cover piece under the trunk and the left saddle bag.

only the lower trim on the trunk and left saddle bag and the left lower corner piece need to be removed to do rear brakes on a 1500 wing not the whole trunk, something got unplugged

Also, look under the seat for any of the harness that man have been stretched when you lifted the trunk.

ok ty i have all the running lights on but i dont have brake lights from either the hand or foot levers

Double check the connections under the left corner piece of the saddle bag. I think both brake lights connect there.

ok i pulled the relays tested them they are good
