When you say "next" to the head light...do you mean the clear or frosted light? (which is a running light) or the amber lens (which is the actual turn signal)? In the amber lens, it requires an 1157 style bulb because it is both a running light and the turn signal (two filaments) where as the bulb in the clear/frosted lens is a 194 style bulb (single filament). and yes...you would need a Resistor or Equalizer to stop the fast flashing for the turn signals!

This would work for the turn signal (still needs resistor/equalizer)...

Thank, wingpilot96 and do you know the Resistors Num. is it 1kOhm,1/4 watt or 470hm,1/2 watt like WingAdim said. Also is the (WLED-WHP13-T (194 LED) a good way to go on the front position light bulds. thank again all for your help.

I would go with what WingAdmin said about the resistor....I didn't change out my turn signal bulbs because it didn't make sense to me...sure, you are putting in an LED bulb, but the resistor is now there producing heat. I haven't needed to change my turn signals bulbs since I bought the bike new...but I did change out a lot of the other bulbs.

Ok I call Super Bright LED and they said to used the (RL-650 Resistor is 6Ohn,50 watt load Resistor. Now I just waiting to see if the WLED-WHP13-t is the best way to go on the front position lights before I do an order.
