94 Wing

Postby mdpatter » Tue Jun 01, 2010 5:45 pm

I have a 94 Wing and I am going to trike it. Is there one kit better than another? I am leaning towards the Champion kit. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to understand the trike thing. Why would you want to do that?

I'm going with the trike for health reasons. It's either that or no riding.

I was thinking about my silly question today. My apologies. I wonder if you ask again in the tech section you might get more help.
I would be happy to see you out there on your trike.

I don't know but I heard that some Insurance Companies will not insure some trike kit. I don't know if anyone else heard that or not.

Thanks for the responses. I'll check on the insurance; I didn't think of that. I went ahead and ordered my Trike Kit from Champion. I'm anxious to get back on the road. Should be here mid month so hopefully I'll be back out by the end of the month. Hope to see you all out there.

I ride a 94 GL1500SE with a motor trike kit on it and love it. Be sure to install a 4.5 degree rake kit while your at it. Its like adding power steering to a dumptruck. Makes all the difference in the world.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered an ezee steer with my kit. Everyone said to get it. I'm glad you like yours so much, the wife and I can't wait to get out and start taking trips. See you out there somewhere!

We are back on the road! We put a quick 1000 miles on our new Trike so far. I really like the Champion Kit we used. See you all out there!
