Whose got a 1992 1500SE (Teal colored) they can send me a couple of pictures of taken at night? I'm interested in a picture looking at the rear looking at the saddlebags (at least the right saddlebag) & the trunk so I can see how it looks with just the tail (& saddlebag) lights on.

Thank you

Why does it have to be a Teal colored 92 SE?? They all pretty much look alike in the dark....unless additional lights have been added/changed.

I think, for insurance purposes after a crash, he wanted a photo to show what a stock, teal GL1500 looks like with OEM tail & brake lights illuminated...no takers, I guess...my bike won't help, as it's pearl white, and has an extra couple of dozen lights.

That's ok. I asked the boys at the tow truck company yard & to turn on the key & take some pics looking at the bike from the rear. I'm sure I posted those pics. Anyway, those pics clearly show the bike very well illuminated from the rear even with one bulb out. I sent that pic to my ins adjuster & he got on the phone with the guy who ran into me. The guy was trying to get out of it by saying he didn't see me. Well, if he didn't see me, he wasn't watching where he was going. Bottom line: he admitted he saw me, so his ins co has now no basis to deny liability.
But now they've been avoiding phoning my adjuster back. Friggin people anyway. O well, my adjuster's gonna keep hounding them until they respond.

Here's an update for any of you following the story:

The other insurance company 23 days after the accident has finally accepted liability. NOW things will start to happen.

Do you let the local courthouse know, so that you can tear up the ticket for no brakelights?

I plan to take that a-hole to the proverbial cleaners.

If I'm entitled to rent-a-car under his million dollar liability policy, can I even tho I have one?

Re the ticket, I shud ask my lawyer about that, but, objectively speaking, I was guilty of that. I knew the bulb needed to be replaced.
