Best?? Up to you heavy oils = stiffer ride. Oil some use ATF or anything from 5 wt to 30wt. don't think brand matters much here no real heat issues or cleaning properties.
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

FAIR WINDS,
RB

About right.
I actually blended 5w with 15w for just a bit less "action".
Be aware of the ammount of oil used.My 88 uses a bit less in the right fork than the left.
Get the ammount "by the book" for each fork.

This is a 1 liter bottle of Bel-Ray High Performance fork oil. This is available in either 10W or 15W. Honda recommends using 10W and Progressive Suspension recommends using 15W with their fork springs. If you are replacing springs on a Goldwing 1800, you will need two liters. If you are replacing springs on a Goldwing 1500 or 1200, you will only need one liter. Select the weight you want when ordering

5w was a bit "bouncy",I mixed 25% 5w with 75% 15w.
It's ok for me.
