1993 Gold wing Aspencade

Postby Trikeman2u » Fri Nov 21, 2014 2:34 pm

I recently purchased a 1993 Goldwing A. Never had one before but wanted one for long time. My question is how do you get the rear speakers to work. It had none so I added the and purchased a wire to hook them up , plugged them in and nothing. What am I missing or what can I do to solve this.
Thanks
Paul

not totally familiar with the Aspencade version of the Wing, but wasn't sure that they had the rear speakers fully wired. The SE version did have both front and rear speakers with a fader that was on the left control stack. Someone will chime in for sure!

Connections should be under the seat..and trace out from there...

I have an 89 Aspencade and it came with the front and rear speakers. Mine being an 89 I think your radio might be different than mine, not sure about the time they changed them. Mine has a fader control on the bottom left corner of the left front speaker.

You have to install a fader, either the factory one in the hump housing below key switch on the false tank cover or plug in an aftermarket from a vendor or Ebay, the plugs are under the left side cover above and to the right of where the cb would be, they have caps on them, most Aspencade bikes have the provision of rear speakers but it's an option.
