Try this one. I have heard good things and bad things about Compufire and others, but only good things about:

He appears to be experienced and genuine.

Ken (hemi-roid) is a good guy and knows what he's doing. He's a member here, and you can send him a message directly: ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=48580

Ken Heming is the operator of the alternator service posted above.
He re-built my Compufire last year - It had over 85,000 miles of service on it and was working fine -
But I had it redone just to be sure it was ready for the next 85K ....

I spend more time over on the Valkyrie forum, and there is a lot of posts there for Mars alternators. They also support that forum.

I seem to recall that a Saturn, yes the car Saturn alternator comes in high output and all you have to do is to change the end plate.
Being a mechanic all my life I have taken apart a ton of starters and alternators and usually it's dirt and dust in the brushes, the regulator if it's internal is usually the one that quits first. Because of heat. Bearings quit because of too tight of belts, but that's not an issue with Goldwings as they are shaft driven, just make sure the back plate bushing has high quality grease.
